It is possible that our well-meaning domestic masters and overlords intend for cops to be able to retire in more safety away from and out of reach of the population they have so brutally oppressed for so many years. Otherwise there appears to be an appalling ignorance of civics together with a lack of basic allegiance to the United States on the part of various departments and officials responsible for hiring local, city, county, state, national, federal and even military law enforcement officers.
