No kings indeed!
King Charles III rolls back 500 years of Reformation to accept a vulgar title of "Royal Confrater"
And now all of Britain is backsliding into unreformed popery.

The insignia of the Order of the Garter has been on display here for centuries, reflecting the links with the English monarchy. ¶And the King will take an honorary, spiritual title associated with the abbey, becoming what's called a "royal confrater", as part of the abbey's confraternity. ¶A Church of England spokesman said the title was a tribute to the King's "work over many decades to find common ground between faiths and to bring people together". ¶The King will sit in a purpose-made seat, decorated with the King's coat of arms, which will stay in place for the King's future use and his successors. ¶State visits are carried out on behalf of the government and a Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "The Catholic Church is the largest denomination of the world's largest religion." ¶As such, the King and Queen's visit will "strengthen the UK's relationship with this crucial and influential partner", she said.

The term "annulment" suggests that a marriage that was never consummated. Henry VIII was sold good Catholic women as wives one after another, who desired the social position and privileges of Queen, but without natural affection and without any physical relations or intimacy with the King.
II Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
King Henry VIII became known as quite a playboy after rejecting the Roman papacy and joining the Reformation, but it is not sufficiently clear that he ever actually experienced any of the sinful pleasures he was accused of. Those women were all good Catholic girls somehow exempt from guilt and shame ganging up to play the whore against Henry and he was ever the "bad boy" all his life.
Martin Luther married a nun, and that was scandalous enough on his part, for all of Luther's opposition to the annulment of Henry's marriage to Catherine of Aragon, although they did by all accounts have normal peaceful relations as man and wife, after the annulment of Katharina von Bora's vows of chastity.

Men who take false vows of chastity or celibacy and refuse normal relations with women cannot in the eyes of God be the judges or officiants of marriages between men and women who truly love one another.
