Disney cracks down on visitors who park or travel without cars

Disney cracks down on freeloaders, makes new rules to keep visitors out of the resorts and theme parks who don’t want to pay for parking - AOL
Guests without reservations can no longer park for free at Disney Springs and take free public transportation around Walt Disney World.

The operator of the “Most Magical Place on Earth” just southwest of Orlando, Florida, is cracking down on a resort-hopping practice that previously allowed visitors to park at Disney Springs for free (1) and take free public transportation to resorts without needing to stay overnight. ¶The crackdown began on June 28, when guests leaving Disney Springs for a resort hotel by bus or boat began getting stopped and asked to show proof of a hotel stay, excursion, or dining reservation. For dinner reservations, you must board within two hours of your booking time (2). ¶Disney Springs is a free-admission outdoor shopping, entertainment, and dining district that has long been used as a starting point for guests to visit resorts or avoid theme park parking fees that start at $35 (3).
It looks a case of corporate malfeasance, police misconduct, inhospitality, and rudeness toward guests.
There's a fine line between making formal dinner reservations and getting the f**k off the property in the back seat of a police car, and using the money so conveniently intended for eating at the restaurant instead for making bail, getting out of jail and getting your car out of the city impound lot. And that's even worse if you're traveling with kids, because then you've got to hire an attorney to get your kids back from Child Protective Services. All on a formal restaurant dinner reservation budget.
