Too many security features on the currency

With hidden fluorescences and RFID microchips embedded, large bills are acting more like secured credit cards and less like cash

A CIA agent I ran into the other day told me, “I never have cash.”

What actually happens when you go through airport security with large amounts of cash
CBP seized $372K at Atlanta airport in 2026 as travelers failed to declare cash. Know the $10K rule to avoid losing your money when flying internationally.

The bills are serialized. The fact that they are dispensed at ATMs or possibly even casino slot machines to individual customers with “hard IDs” means that the said serial numbers are being recorded and tracked.

Regardless of any laws or morals, that is a foregone conclusion of the desire of cops to have that information and the lack of any effective means of frustrating that desire.

The use of “cryptocurrency” with so-called “block chains” in connection with the U.S. dollar is another crack appearing in the foundation of our nation’s financial security. Crypto is a fully traceable and transparent transactional system for exchange of tokens of value by majority rule, but it is still subject to a “Sybil” attack if a majority of “miners” collude to roll back a blockchain.

The difficulty of cracking the cryptographic ciphers on which a system of false sense of security for online digital “currency” is based is no real obstacle for NSA or others with nation-state cryptological abilities. A “probit” or “logit” analysis of the probabilities of each bit in the inner workings of the cipher or hash scheme being zero or one would be combined with standard techniques of linear and differential cryptanalysis using Viterbi or Turbo algorithms to crack even NP-hard problems for the wheelbarrows full of cash and coins to buy a loaf of bread.

Unlike Bradley a.k.a. Chelsea Manning or Reality Winner, I am not a former NSA employee. There is a Facebook group for a Navy Nuclear Weapons Association which recently popped up in a search. I have no idea why other than the suggestion of cryptology and deep secrets.
