Too many ladies’ nights out

And what exactly is the difference exactly between Alcohol-Related Liver Disease and Hepatitis C?

Alcohol-Related Liver Disease Is ‘Surging’ in Young People — and It’s ‘Far Worse in Women,’ Research Says
Dr. Jennifer Flemming said there is an “urgent need” to identify risk groups and intervene with treatment and disease management

There are always plenty of young people lying, cheating, stealing, drinking, drugging and having sex.

In northern mosquito territories, we have to be skeptical of the very idea of bloodborne viruses such as HIV and Hepatitis C. Rich and poor alike are bitten by mosquitoes, but only the poor and down-and-out are served with official diagnoses of bloodborne illnesses, most commonly at public health clinics.

Perhaps it depends on the relative shamefulness of the condition. It is entirely possible that many people actually have Hepatitis C or similar or related viruses, and that alcohol significantly aggravates the symptoms of viral hepatitis.

CDC: Treatment of Hepatitis C

Is Hepatitis C Curable?
New treatments over the past few years mean that Hep C today is much more manageable than it was in the past. Learn about new treatments and costs.

The $50,000++ price tag attached to the regimen of unpronounceable drugs claimed to “cure” Hepatitis C gives doctors entirely too much of a financial incentive to serve such a diagnosis at law on an unsuspecting patient. Compare the antiviral “cocktails” offered to HIV patients.

It is very true that drinking alcohol can lead to being taken advantage of and getting pregnant by unknown men, although that sort of activity tends to be more or less mutual and consensual in a party-like atmosphere most of the time.

On the other hand, if an actual viral illness is to be diagnosed as an alcohol-related liver disease, then the male in the relationship with the female will likely be offed or ignored or blackmailed into silence with anonymous rape accusations, so that the woman can receive medical treatment for a sexually transmitted disease without admitting or confessing to having sex at all.

Or else there is some other treatment being offered to ladies for what is more commonly diagnosed in men as HIV+AIDS, among “risk groups” with a vague and wandering definition of “risk” that may be little other than “risqué” clothing or similar pejoratives.
