3 women accused of murder in connection with deadly stabbing in Del Rio, police say

Del Rio police officers took three women into custody and charged them with murder after a 32-year-old woman was stabbed to death Thursday.

KSAT has reached out to Del Rio police for details regarding where the women were taken into custody. ¶After the suspects were booked, Del Rio police said the victim was pronounced dead Thursday evening in San Antonio. ¶The suspects were then charged in connection with the woman’s murder. Officers said additional charges are possible and their investigation is ongoing.

So what were the ladies arrested for in the first place if it wasn't murder? Claiming the victim died later after the arrest and murder is the only charge?

And isn't that a fast jailbait booking?

Sorry. Bad cops and worthless D.A.'s diddled away a proper murder conviction in court, even if the three young women did actually commit the act. Murder is not really an upcharge option after an arrest.

Motive? Robbery? Ongoing dispute? Not even the worst sorts of criminals, even those who have murdered before, will likely attack a 32-year-old woman totally unprovoked.

What did she do to them to make them do angry? If they are really the ones who did it according to the alleged (possibly edited or fabricated) surveillance camera footage.
