The terms "far left" and "far right" have very little meaning

We're all flipped around from the British House of Lords with the Tories traditionally sitting on the right and the Labour Party on the left.

The Nazis or National Socialist German Workers Party — were, well, I'm sorry, but a socialist workers party is far left no matter what. Left-hand salute and all. They were demanding Jewish health care but please don't make us Jew-boys. The Jews and gays and social undesirables all had their places in Nazi society with yellow stars, pink and black triangles etc.

Businessmen or business owners —many of whom were Jews in Nazi Germany — were actually for the most part on the far right as independently minded self-employed do-no-harm folks.

Workers can hang out and be liberal and have fun with the guys, but business owners have more responsibilities and have to be more conservative. Orthodox or religiously observant Jews? The real serious men in the stovepipe hats who don't eat pork or whatnot? No. They couldn't have been liberals at all.

Left wing terrorism, like the Twelve Conclusions of the Lollards, is an argument preserved only in the rebuttal. For a possible motive for serious organized crime, you need something a little bit more substantial than a bunch of guys "out with the guys" drinking, gambling, picking up girls or acting liberal.

Not that they're not left wing or liberal, but we're looking for some really bad dudes here.
