It appears as if sight were restored to the blind, as if there were such great joy that could not possibly be increased, as there could not possibly be any greater joy. …

The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
This is certainly cannot be an earthly government or an earthly peace, or a fleshly zeal. Only a heavenly government and a heavenly peace, accomplished by a heavenly zeal. Moreover this is a place in the Bible which unquestionably if strangely enough refers to female warriors, or women serving in direct military combat roles, to wit, giving birth on a bloody battlefield under enemy fire.

The Pentagon is shuttering an advisory group focused on women in the military just weeks after reinstating it. ¶Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth decided to terminate the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services, according to a post on X Tuesday from Pentagon Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson. Military Times reported last week that the group would be reinstated after being paused earlier this year. ¶“The Committee is focused on advancing a divisive feminist agenda that hurts combat readiness, while Secretary Hegseth has focused on advancing uniform, sex-neutral standards across the Department,” Wilson wrote. ¶Since taking over the Pentagon, Hegseth has pledged to bring “sex-neutral standards” to the military services, pointing to fitness tests and other physical performance tests that have included scoring systems based on gender.
Women don’t seem to have all that much trouble keeping up with the male standards of fitness and/or combat-readiness outside the military, at least up to height and weight.
There’s a female “draft” for these women’s sports teams of course, just not, apparently, for the military, where a male pick-up culture predominates and women are relegated to roles of prostitution, where they are not “forced” to compete with men. War is not as kind to women as the gentlemen of the district will let on, however.
