That's ridiculous! Schooling shouldn't financially strain anyone or necessitate a loan.
The entire student loan industry needs to be strangled out of existence. Schools are charging too much in the first place, and the quality of education is too poor to make up for exorbitant tuition and highly excessive fees.
Old brick schoolhouse with a wood stove, books, paper and pencils. It can't cost that much and it can't be that stressful. People going to school were never expected to be rich. You learned what you needed to learn, in college or technical trade schools or whatever, but you had to go to work and apply it and earn some money out on your own.

If you can't work part time and pay for it totally out of pocket, it's not worth it and it's never going to be worth it. You can't be stuck with a loan, and 99% of employers don't care if have a degree of not.
And hundreds of diploma mills and for-profit schools rip you off if you don't accept the state funded indoctrination at full face value, but they all employ careerist hit men to put you permanently out of commission if you do or say anything again their political hard line.
