People who say “God’s peace!”

Is this manner of greeting supported by the Bible?

[1 Thessalonians 5:3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

The Bible says they’re peaceniks. That's too much peace and safety and free love and they're getting pregnant.

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

We do have fathers and mothers here and we’re not bastards conceived in fornication?

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Are people sleeping around and getting drunk in church? Let's have our privacy, draw the curtains and lock our doors at night then, and not sleep around or get caught with our pants down or get pregnant. As to “faith and love,” what is the best way to deal with the majority of a congregation of stubborn leftists who ardently believe that love is just another word for fornication?

[2 John 10–11] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

What is God speed? Isn't that “God’s peace” with a coffee and a donut, tank full of gas and a bloody state trooper to pull you over for all of that and then some?

Baristas’ shiftless boyfriends who work as cops?

I don’t bring “doctrines” into other people’s houses and I have the same Bible as everyone else.
