Older men dating younger women
Is it "socially acceptable" or not?
Obviously the couple themselves are the only ones to decide that. Is it socially acceptable for "cougars" or older ladies to date younger men?
The correct answer is that nobody really cares.
All the old folks' homes in the world have young female caregivers who perform often intimate tasks for the older men in a professional and socially appropriate setting.
If you're dating, you only care about who you think it is socially appropriate to date, between the two of you. Otherwise you just don't care who other people are dating.
But this isn't dating. It's just too much pimping and trespassing and obnoxious S.O.P. going on between the police station and the courthouse, grocery stores, restaurants and even gas stations and convenience stores. Some guy will inevitably run into a big sister or a little sister or the girl next door, and even repeatedly but that isn't a "date" unless they really are getting together and it's not just an inevitable small town chance encounter. How important do some of these females think they are anyways? Females behind the counter are usually dating male cops or male security guards.
