Filing false criminal charges is not the best legal strategy for a divorce case

She said he broke her iPad?

On April 26, 2026, at 1509 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of damaged property from Kayleigh H. She stated that her husband, Nicholas H., had damaged her iPad during a dispute. Troopers contacted both parties and confirmed the device had been broken by Nicholas. No additional damage or safety concerns were observed. The investigation resulted in probable cause to believe Nicholas H. committed Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. He was remanded to FCC.

Another unfaithful male cop, to boot.

For the value of the device being allegedly broken, even in the worst of circumstances, the guy's responsibility is civil only and strictly limited to replacing it at cost! Especially given that the officer making the arrest confesses in his own wording of the report that the arrest is false, with absolutely no violence or other aggravating factors to consider, let alone any probable cause to make an arrest.

Cops are pimping when they become personally involved in romance scams and divorce cases.
