MTG's support for gun rights is insincere

No recent news on gun rights from longtime vocal proponent Marjorie Taylor Greene. Her support for the Second Amendment appears to be flaking out. As if we'd forget.

Trump drops Marjorie Taylor Greene endorsement, calls her a ‘ranting lunatic,’ hints at backing primary rival
Trump withdraws support for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, calling her ‘ranting lunatic’ and ‘Wacky Marjorie’ in explosive Truth Social post targeting longtime ally.
The president claimed that Greene "has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore" in a long post where he ultimately vowed "Complete and Unyielding Support" to any conservative primary challenger leading into the 2026 midterm elections. ¶Trump claimed Greene had "gone Far Left," citing her recent appearance on The View, and gave her the new nickname "Wacky Marjorie."
The New Republican Voice of Sanity Is … Marjorie Taylor Greene? - The American Prospect
Greene has emerged as something of a Republican voice of reason, at least by the standards of MAGA in 2025, perhaps the lowest bar imaginable. That might be useful for Democrats.
First and most obviously, per The Wall Street Journal, a few months ago Trump pushed Greene out of a potential run for Senate in Georgia, reportedly showing her polls that she would lose by double digits. She also claimed that a “very established ‘Men Only’ Republican firm” was blocking her from running for governor.

MTG shouldn't be hanging out with Epstein's girls and their accusations. Trump has no reason to be embarrassed or ashamed of any of that so far. "Men Only" is a bit of an exaggeration. The naughty girls are being rooted out along with their false accusations, and honorable and virtuous women welcomed. Epstein's prostitutes and bartenders were far too presumptuous of older married men's desires for infidelity.
