These are the touchy-feely sorts and party types, the "men in black" who talk death to sound tough but most deaths in that field are from suicide, which they glorify and explain away as alternative intelligence.

They usually same-sex their targets but not always. You can tell, though, when a good fellow or a regular guy will tell those CIA-type dudes straight out, "You know, come to think about it, if I haven't seen your girlfriends, wives or daughters by now, it's about time for the whole sorry lot of you scumbags to stay the hell off my property!"

And the tradecraft gals hanging out downtown are something else, busybodies and town gossips, old ladies at the bingo parlor, knitting and crocheting, playing pull tabs and scratching lottery tickets, raffling door prizes, the talkative, chatty, overly friendly grocery checkers, baristas, bank tellers, postal clerks, women and "girls next door" which another lady or a fellow might meet every day and think to be friends, but no, all of a sudden they play coy, they're too shy to introduce their husbands, fathers and boyfriends, and there's an arrogant lustful male cop showing up johnny on the spot in public. Small town, everybody knows how full of baloney the gals are, but nobody does a darned thing about it, because that's how they run the town and that's how they want it run.
