The FBI is warning about a dramatic rise in lasers being pointed at planes as they land at Sea-Tac and Spokane International Airport.

Years ago, people who lived in cabins in remote areas would quite commonly signal pilots for help or a pick-up with a five-and-dime store presentation laser pointer.

Naturally there was a lot of prostitution and trouble with male and female pick-ups. The "felony" issue is with the laser-light pick-up signal triggering pilots' memories of past love affairs on solo flights.

Strict but hidden and secretively enforced laws were passed prohibiting fornication and adultery and requiring all private and charter aircraft pilots to register their flight plans particularly with the sex or gender and date of birth of any passengers.

So with false and highly exaggerated claims of eye damage etc., there are "white lies" being told to cover up the other lies and extramarital affairs which are common among the traveling and flying crowds. Unwritten rules and unspoken codes of unjustly usurped honor took over all sectors of general aviation.
