Gay cops on gay dating apps
No. Not because they're enforcing the law. Because these particular cops are gay.
Gay nightclubs, lesbian bars etc. are always teeming with off-duty cops. It's the sort of thing that always seems to go along with police paraphernalia, courthouse trash, BDSM fetishes and various other cop-shop machismo.

The hosts of The Big Weekend Show on Fox News were shocked and disgusted to learn that anti-ICE protesters in Minnesota were using Grindr and other dating apps to “expose” ICE agents.
Online dating apps are in fact most often used for human trafficking and arranging one-night-stands and other meet-ups.
Cops who don't want to “expose themselves” online could in theory simply “lurk” on those social networks and limit themselves to viewing what's publicly posted, but they're social cops always looking for a personal life away from work online while others who already have personal lives definitely don't want the cops involved.
And what do we have against homosexuals who work in law enforcement? Really, nothing we don't have already have against all the presumably straight pimps and madams who also work as cops.
