Customer: I was trespassed from a store where I had never been trespassed before.
Yes, I was trespassed from another Safeway Store, but a different Safeway Store had me arrested for trespassing when that store never actually trespassed me.
Is this legally correct? /Alaska.
Hello and welcome! I am a licensed attorney. … Were you given a notice not to return to any Safeway in your city, or just the one where you were located when the notice was issued?
What is the legal process for businesses to ban individuals from their property?
It's a simple process. You call the police when they don’t leave. The police come and you formally trespass the unwanted people in front of them. If they return after that, they are subject to arrest for trespass after warning. A business can decline service to anyone they want, unless it’s on a discriminatory basis regarding things like race, religion, gender, disability, etc
Can I be charged with trespassing if I was invited over?
If a girl invited me over at 9:00 PM and I didn't know her parents didn't know I was there, even though I've never met them so they couldn't tell me I was unwelcome, could I be charged with criminal trespassing if I left as soon as they said to leave?
Is it legal for a business to ban you from their premises?
A business operating on private property can ban you as long as the basis is not (solely) membership in a protected class under federal or state law.
Why is it considered trespassing to enter the premises of a public school during weekday hours if you're not a student, parent, staff member or going to the office?
Public schools are public property but access is not unrestricted. Entering a school during weekday hours when you are not a student, parent, staff member, or legitimately on official business may constitute trespass for several clear legal and practical reasons: … Even where criminal charges aren’t pursued, districts routinely bar repeat offenders and notify law enforcement to protect students.
Private property access restricted due to trespassing
There is State access to the beach. … I have always been very lenient about letting people through, no problem! Unfortunately two weeks ago we had somebody who has never ever been denied access to our property ask to go through a locked gate. There was nobody here to unlock that gate for him. He decided he didn’t like that answer and took his gun out and shot the lock off the gate and proceeded to go through, using the excuse when the Trooper showed up that he had a low tire and needed to get through …
How can a store say you're trespassing (gas station) when you've never had any problems?
I pulled up to the gas pump like normal..went inside to pay and a worker as i was paying said to me you cant be here you're trespassing..I said for what?as this is a joke and she said to ask the police..Ive never had any trouble..and have no clue as to why i would ever be trespassed..obviously my wife and i will never return..but this is really upsetting that i have no clue as to how this came about and how to find out why this is happening.

It would probably be in your best interest to just to never go back to that gas station and forget the whole thing happened. Otherwise, if you really want to get to the bottom of it, I would recommend going to a police station and inquiring. They may maintain a trespass list or can go to the gas station with you to inquire. But beware, sometimes getting the police involved can backfire and end up being more akin to hitting a beehive with a stick. Unexpected and negative consequences.
A business can trespass whomever they want (as long as it's not based on your race or gender). If they have previously trespassed you and you return then that is a misdemeanor crime. Since you have no clue about the source of this situation, then perhaps it is confusion on their part, but you probably don't want to mess around with the risk of being charged with a crime if the misunderstanding is on your part. But if the police go there and the gas station says you committed a crime, they may file a non-arrest charge with the State Attorney's Office and you may end up with a criminal case on the basis of the gas station alone and ignoring your side of it.

The U.S. Census Bureau says the nationwide count is a constitutional requirement, and workers canvassing communities to obtain resident information are not bound by posted trespassing warnings.

What are the consequences of trespassing on federal property, including national parks, military bases and other government owned areas?
Illegal entry onto federal property can be either a misdemeanor or a felony. If it is a military or sensitive government facility entry is a felony that can result in a number of years in jail. If it is a restricted area of a national park then it is more likely a misdemeanor that would result in a fine for the first violation and potentially a jail sentence of up to a year for repeat violations. ¶If an entry onto federal property itself is a misdemeanor, you can also be charged with a felony if it is believed that your entry was for the purpose of committing a felony. An example is “unlawful entry with the intent to destroy federal property.” ¶It depends on the installation. Consequences can range from simply being asked to leave with a strong admonition not to return to trespassing charges dealt with by a local court, criminal trespassing charges which put you before a Federal Magistrate. ¶On some high security installations, you could be shot. ¶Variable, you might be ignored or unnoticed, you might be escorted away or arrested, and you might be shot on sight. ¶It will depend quite significantly on where you are, what you are doing, and what else is happening …

I was trespassed from Walmart three years ago, they took my picture but police weren't involved and i never got convicted of a crime or paid any fines. Am I allowed back in walmart since it's been a couple of years?

No you are not. You are almost certainly lifetime banned. Walmart is particularly aggressive about banning shoplifters.
Good luck
