Antibiotic-resistant bacteria
Among other drug dependencies of human patients
It's a pablum for which you need a doctor's scribble.

The application of heat — say a heating pad or soak in hot water for an affected limb or a hot tub or sauna for more general infection is probably more effective than antibiotics anyways.
Eat a little if you can do so without vomiting, but don't overindulge. Don't overdo it and always drink plenty of fluids when using heat. Namely non-alcoholic fluids, such as, for the most part, plain water, as doctors have been rather infamous in the century that has elapsed since Prohibition for prescribing shots of liquor or touting the health benefits of wine. Or else the cheese that pair with the wine. Roquefort or Bleu Cheese with the penicillium for what ails you. Or maybe it's climate change.
Shut down the brothels and enforce restaurant cleanliness standards. Poverty and obesity go hand in hand.
Sometimes a bacterial infection that has invaded bone or become resistant to all known antibiotics will respond to radiation and chemotherapy as for cancer.
