Other than that, on occasion, there are people fleeing the scene with little time or place to change clothes or carry baggage. I had walked by the Pentagon once, quickly, and caught the train. A plainclothes lady stopped me but she did not show any badges or identification and I did not consent to a search of the said baggage. I was not detained or subjected to any charges in connection with that incident. However I was followed and my baggage was much later stolen.

Persons who are told to dress like that are supposed to appear for something, and there is great deal of shake-up in the government and upper ranks of the military. I would imagine most of the military rank and file would much prefer to stay out of the area unless their presence is absolutely required, especially in view of what happened to Ashli Babbitt.
