Women in cryptography?
And where did all the men disappear off to?
Three years ago, the USPS issued a postage stamp honoring Women Cryptologists of WWII.

This is a modern-day club or sorority of sorts.
The WinC discord channel welcomes everyone who identifies as a women, as well as allies (new!). It is mostly a place to exchange with other members of the WinC community. If you want to join us, send us an email so we can add you to the discord chanel [sic].
Well intentioned, I am sure. There is more general information on cryptography not associated with this particular club at our own sister site.

Cryptography is associated with war and hostility, and the existence of a women's club with an open invitation to "transwomen" and "feminist allies" creates opportunity for the cutting of hair and the putting out of eyes, and it ends up exacerbating the problem of too many men who are "out with the guys" all the time and reject mixed company in the field of a "locker room science" of hidden or secret writing which all too often skips or omits the hard maths and devolves into vulgarity, obscenity, endless clamors and ceaseless demands for law enforcement access to absolutely everything at will, particularly where (typically assumed biological) "male" subjects are involved, i.e., artistic male nudes if not actual living men, referring back to the official logo of the EFF's Certbot project. We're on the internet, after all.

Little Samson fellow there, the robotic locker room mate with long "locks" lifting a very heavy key and leaking blood out of his keyhole. Women's innate biology and biological drives to find men and have children with them are no secret and merely "the usual" of what pertains to the human condition.

They speak French. Plenty of European police officers are hard at work violating the rights of everyday citizens and they look the other way when the crown jewels are stolen in broad daylight. Security system? Private guards? Non-functional and missing in action. What are the rest of us seeing in the realm of cryptography that the cops don't have access to?
