Why do Jews always equate medical or dental conditions with moral failings?
Are their Rabbis really always so hale and hearty and healthy to serve such heavy religious rebukes on the sick?
It is true that doctors and dentists are often sicker and in worse shape than their patients, and that the care they offer is mostly to appease popular demand for narcotics and not to heal or treat or cure any disease or condition, but the Rabbis made lewd assumptions on a general principle of heavy vice that all medical patients are merely mentally ill drug addicts, and to this day they scarcely deign to treat any other medical condition or illness.
“I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not” [Matthew 25:43].
Putin, 73, Spotted ‘In Pain’ With Sickly Shriveled Hand
Vladimir Putin’s shriveled hand at a public event in Russia has prompted a fresh wave of speculation about the dictator’s health. Footage of the Russian president captured at a conference last week shows the 73-year-old despot’s right hand looking sickly and visibly withered, covered in bulging veins and thin, wrinkled skin. As he stood motionless next to a basketball hoop, Putin’s hands were seen clenched tightly by his side, which commentators said looked extremely painful.
Jeroboam’s Withered Hand - Tidings
The story of Jeroboam is a sad one of someone who was given every opportunity to make a difference but wasted it.

This is a moral trap which Jesus did not fall into.
Bible Gateway passage: Mark 3:1-5 - King James Version
And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
