"Viral" as a misspelling of "virile"
These women are chasing "virile" young men on the internet
"Going viral" (or "virile" by the dictionary spelling) on the internet seems to have the meaning of ardently chasing young men, in a certain context of old ladies given to vice raffling door prizes at the bingo parlor, scratching lottery tickets and playing pull tabs and slot machines at the casino.
And even the term "virus" itself refers to something a lady would catch from a man, in reference to his masculinity.
