Unregulated taxicabs and rides from strangers

"Driving women …"

Sexual harassment in Mexico drives women to look for rides with other women
When a male driver from a popular rideshare app asked Ninfa Fuentes for her phone number during a ride through Mexico City, she froze. What should have been a quiet ride home at the end of the workday three years ago turned into a nightmare that many women in Mexico experience daily: holding their breath until they know they’ve made it home alive. “I felt like I was dying,” Fuentes, 48, said.
Cabrera, who now rides with AmorrAs, said she also avoided wearing skirts and never went anywhere without making sure that someone she trusts was monitoring her journey — a common internalized protocol for many women in Mexico. ¶“For me, AmorrAs represents being able to do things I couldn’t do before," said Cabrera. "I really enjoy going to concerts. It shouldn’t be like that but if it weren’t for them, I probably wouldn’t be able to do it.”

The Mexicans can explain certain things very well actually. There are women who "wear pants" and attend concerts without men. And you need a ride somewhere.

Or park your own car somewhere and hope nobody fools with it or steals it. Gangs of lesbian car thieves and their male pornmasters are at work. Your car is a "lemon" and you need a ride again.

There's a "morass" of low-IQ pick-up culture in a vicious red-light district friendly to car thieves, but I wouldn't testify to the name of any particular party or organization beyond that.
