There's actually more law and order showing up with the National Guard

I'm not an lawyer, so I don't know how to interpret Trump's orders. I can only gauge by what is coming out of the other end of the justice system.

So far, Trump's crackdown is looking good.

The entire justice system is evidently being tortured into compliance with Trump's orders in pursuance of the Constitution.

'The most illegal search': Judges push back against D.C. criminal charges

President Trump has ordered National Guard members and federal law enforcement officers to "clean up" the city and crack down on crime. He signed a new executive order on Monday to ensure more people arrested in D.C. face federal charges and are held in pretrial detention "whenever possible." ... //"We don't just charge people criminally and then say, 'Oops, my bad,'" he said. "I'm at a loss how the U.S. Attorney's Office thought this was an appropriate charge in any court, let alone the federal court."

Trump is making more and more sense. The goal is to crack down on serious federal crimes in D.C. The usual random pick-ups by police, backpack searches, wordy deliberative SCOTUS opinions and miscellaneous petty charges do not qualify under Trump's orders.

Well, back to the courts again. You don't just pick people up at random on the streets as a cop if you don't have a good federal case with a solid warrant to start with. These are all serious federal felonies and Internal Affairs. And plenty of them. Trump's cleanup proceeding as planned.

FBI does not have a loud obnoxious "Internal Affairs" department as for example the NYPD does. Information is rather limited and outdated. Random beat cops signing up for "Cop City" style Internal Affairs colloquia are just asking for trouble.
