The reality of government gun confiscation programs

Beat cops are working illegal side gigs as pawn stars, and some federal agents are real hustlers.

The law says people can have guns without any particular restrictions or infringements on that right. The trouble is that the cops who are hired to enforce the law do not want people to have guns. We've got some really aggressive greedy cops with side gigs as "pawn stars" to deal with, including some with FFL dealer licenses, fingerprints, ATF, the whole background check schmeer.

Asset Forfeiture

Asset forfeiture is a powerful tool used by law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, against criminals and criminal organizations to deprive them of their ill-gotten gains through seizure of these assets.

Basically, "We're the FBI. If we want something of yours, we can just seize it or confiscate it at will."

Isn't that a bit rich on the the traffic ticket book for pawn star cops to call our hard-earned gains as law-abiding citizens "ill-gotten"?
