The Epstein files
"Eros & Thanatos" as the German frat boys like to say
Trump says he’ll sign bill to release Epstein files but claims ‘all’ the dead sex offender’s ‘friends were Democrats’
It goes to the root meaning of "liberal." There are "loose men" and "loose women."
Preachers used to speak about morality and resisting temptation — but we don't hear that anymore. Instead there's a universal presumption of guilt in any and all matters of sexual immorality. A person wouldn't ordinarily talk to a preacher for the purpose of "denying" involvement in sexual affairs. (So what? Why? Preachers are not accusers, are they?) Religious ministers are there to hear confessions, not denials. But what adverse actions could they take on a confession and not break the seal of it? Lutherans tend to avoid private Catholic talks and would prefer to make open confessions except that the latter risk being interpreted as open sinfulness without remorse. (A proper Lutheran penance, then, would be nothing more or less than turning away or abstaining from the said sinfulness, as Lutherans don't care for Catholic penances or indulgences either.)
We still don't what these people's religions are or what they are choosing to confess to with the release of the Epstein files.
