Selling Christianity as a “men’s religion” and women are never to be seen by men except in their full Sunday finery. So actually get to know a few of these women, and you can put a coffee filter on your head, ride a broomstick and read the horoscope in the newspaper.

"Ganges Goose" sounds Hindu not Christian. Too many Hindus on Reddit regardless. People are baptized but not allowed to swim?

Communion without wine? Prohibitionist teetotalers? Don't be a wine-bibber but you can't accept Communion and claim absolute total abstinence at the same time.

About the time of WWI in Hot Springs, Arkansas and Pentecostals from all over the country all met each other and looked around uncomfortably, decided it's a sin to visit the hot springs and started a new denomination. Or what happened?

My skin crawls with such extreme inhospitality, and I feel unwashed if people hesitate to go swimming or hunting or fishing or if they go out of their way to make me feel uncomfortable.
