Possibly because of obnoxious service of process, trespass allegations in court, red flag laws and business-community commercial concerns which absolutely prohibit people from possessing or carrying firearms which may or may or have been sold at the aforementioned sporting goods store.

Not only guns, but most outdoor and survival gear is becoming illegal for civilians to possess anymore, as citizens are generally expected to serve out house arrest indoors for the rest of their lives, and most private building and construction activities are prohibited by law as well.
Not formally, but informally at police stations and courthouses where people who are not physically present in their registered residences or legal places of employment are more and more often hunted down and considered to be stalkers, sex offenders, trespassers, etc.
More exotic adult-oriented products and services will probably be offered in places where sporting goods stores and gun stores close across America as extreme gun control is implemented throughout the country, and all privately owned firearms are confiscated.
