Mocked for parochialisms of English speech
Not actually outside the norm of Atlanta-Georgia-headquartered mainstream media
How many people know e.g. that "chitterlings" is pronounced "chitlins" or that "victuals" is pronounced "vittles" in proper English?

But there's a limit to it. That is starting to sound like a gay lisp, with the teeth and tongue showing off in party photos, and too many limp-wristed cops hanging around all the wrong districts.
These people ("righteous lesbians" and "church fags" etc.) offer sharp rebukes and heavy law sermons in church without intending to cause any harm at all, and then they go to court with gentle admonitions and subtle insinuations to justify the extremely severe and harsh punishments they impose for every slightest infraction or perceived breach of etiquette.
Do straight women really pay that much attention to Ellen DeGeneres or find any of her dirty jokes all that hilariously funny? I'd look the other way (or change the channel) until they find a couple of overly affected "gay" boyfriends, and pair off straight after an evening game of bridge or something like that.
