Masked and hooded armed agents using force to enter private homes without a court order and refusing to identify themselves risk being shot and killed quite justifiably by the residents or owners of the said homes under the castle doctrine.
Anybody can shop for used military surplus and dress up as a cop, but when the guns are drawn and the front door is being bashed in with a battering ram, it’s too late to ask for a name and badge number or collaborate with the local police station or defer to any further courthouse civilities before taking the law into one’s own hands to defend one’s own home.
