According to a report from HuffPost, Fulnecky's class was prompted to react to "a psychology article on gender stereotypes in middle school students and how it affects their mental health."

Is some boy a runt and he's picked on and teased and beaten and bullied by all the other boys and she sees nothing wrong with that?

Instead, Fulnecky's essay centered around God and the Bible. Her paper includes lines like, "The article discussed peers using teasing as a way to enforce gender norms. I do not necessarily see this as a problem," and "Society pushing the lie that there are multiple genders and everyone should be whatever they want to be is demonic."

Nobody who is merely "teasing" is enforcing anything at all. Kids who tease just want a date. A boyfriend or a girlfriend. Nobody's "pushing" anything on any grand scale of human society except for straight sex, a.k.a. plain old prostitution.

She also argued, "Women naturally want to do womanly things because God created us with those womanly desires in our hearts."

Women who desire other women that much have nothing informative to tell us about so-called "gender roles." Some butch woman friend-dates a femme woman or something like that.

Otherwise men are men and women are women, a simple fact that needs no elaboration at that level.

"Gender roles" as such are exclusively for homosexuals in homosexual relationships. Otherwise husbands are husbands and wives are wives and it's nobody's business and it's time to move along to the next lesson. If people are who they are they aren't playing a "role" with another person of the same sex.
