Just say no to drugs and acknowledge that war involves actual physical combat

In a controversial speech to military leaders last week, Hegseth declared an end to “woke” culture and announced new directives that include “gender-neutral” or “male-level” standards for physical fitness.
Women who are able-bodied and passionate about fighting for our country should not be automatically excluded or turned away, but they do have to be up to the fight and not scared to compete with men.
And let's include the wives of married male soldiers in that category. They will need fitness and self-defense as well.
Women have fought in wars for all of recorded history, but war does not favor women or grant any special dispensations for the weaker or fairer sex. There are certain facts of life.
