UAF hosts senators, military officials at the Museum of the North
Senators Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan joined senior military officials, including Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Randy George, at a working social held at the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ (UAF) Museum of the North Wednesday.
Before meeting over food in the museum’s lobby, attendees heard speeches from Murkowski and George, as well as a presentation from Interim Chancellor Mike Sfraga about the arctic region’s increasing importance for the world’s militaries and UAF’s research about the region.
