Heavy-metal Finns are grabbing guns and causing more trouble

They're not technically shooting directly at us or trying to kill is, but it sure is awfully important to them that we don't or shouldn't carry any guns.

And all those Finns in Minneapolis, too.

Judge grants order barring feds from altering or destroying evidence in Pretti shooting
A federal judge has granted a temporary restraining order barring federal officials from destroying or altering evidence related to Saturday’s fatal shooting of Alex Pretti by a federal agent in Minneapolis.
Tuomas Holopainen got the idea to form Nightwish while fulfilling his national service in the Finnish army. …, his service was spent in the military band, playing clarinet and saxophone rather than undertaking intensive weapons training or going out on manoeuvres. ¶“I didn’t have to play around with guns or any of that nonsense,” he says. “There was a lot of free time during the evenings, so I got permission to go to the rehearsal room and play the piano and keyboard.

Trump has Greenland already. NATO is dead and long gone.

Gun rights groups blast Trump over Minnesota response

Multiple national gun-rights organizations, as well as a prominent Minnesota gun rights group, have expressed horror at top Trump administration officials’ criticism of Pretti for being armed with a handgun that he had a legal permit to carry. ¶FBI Director Kash Patel said Sunday on Fox News that “You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It’s that simple. You don’t have a right to break the law.” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said Saturday that she didn’t “know of any peaceful protester that shows up with a gun and ammunition rather than a sign.” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday that “any gun owner knows” that carrying a gun raises “the assumption of risk and the risk of force being used against you,” during interactions with law enforcement. ¶Gun-rights groups rushed to push back on an administration that was breaking with conservative orthodoxy on the right to bear arms in public places.

Unfortunately for Kash Patel, Kristi Noem, and Karoline Leavitt, Alex Pretti was not breaking the law. He was a registered nurse with a legal permit to carry a presumably registered firearm, and he was not brandishing it or threatening anyone with it when he was murdered by the DHS//ICE mob. A man who was totally transparent with absolutely nothing to hide because of his profession, in the same position as a schoolteacher or any other public figure in a position of care or trust.

AFGE Demands Resignation or Termination of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller for Smearing Slain AFGE Member Alex Pretti as “Domestic Terrorist”

“In the immediate aftermath of Alex’s killing, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem betrayed the public trust by slandering the good name of our union brother and calling him a “domestic terrorist.” Alex Pretti was a patriotic ICU nurse at a VA hospital who devoted his life to serving America’s veterans. That claim was reckless, defamatory, and unsupported by the facts. Noem was preceded in this false statement by Stephen Miller, Deputy White House Chief of Staff, who is also the architect of the chaotic and failed immigration policy in Minnesota.

I’m not really a big fan of labor unions or labor union representation, but there you have it. We are all “workers” in some trade or profession in America if not exactly federal employees. Even FBI agents have to go undercover and carry weapons without ID to protect themselves. It’s rather too bad that neither Alex Pretti’s own union, the Amercan Nurses Association, nor the American Academy of Nursing, would have supported his right to carry a gun lawfully for self-defense, as nearly all professional medical and dental organizations in the United States are violently opposed to the ownership and carrying of weapons by law-abiding citizens. It appears that his own union brothers within the medical industry might have betrayed him and expressed “concerns” about the legality of his ownership of firearms to the DHS//ICE mob.
