Don't dress like a shrink!
Most psychologists and psychiatrists have an atrocious fashion sense.
If you have "enclothed cognition" I assume you ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and it's time to get out of the Garden of Eden already.

The American Psychological Association introduced the concept of enclothed cognition in 2012. It suggests that the clothes we wear influence our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. It highlights the connection between the symbolic meaning of clothing and the physical experience of wearing it, impacting our cognitive processes. This means that what we wear can subtly, but significantly, affect how we perceive ourselves and how we perform tasks.
There are "men of the cloth" and that's entirely too much haircutting and tailoring and grooming of women for the shrink profession to stoop to.
Clothing can be for disguise or subterfuge or style or to fit in with the crowd, or blend in, or stand out, or attract attention, or purely practical for the task at hand.
I see a lot of expensive clothing thrown away, available for cheap at Goodwill, Value Village, eBay, etc. I don't spend a lot of money on psychological perceptions. Style of clothing is merely personal choice or preference. The psychology of it is the feeling of security to have something of decent value or appropriate or comfortable, practical, reasonably clean and of good quality to put on or wear for any given activities of daily living or occasions of work or sleep or exercise or social activities, etc.
Depending to some extent on wealth or income, some people (male or female) are really interested in high fashion and others just don't care. Unless it's a dress code or required uniform or laws on indecent exposure, it's time for professional shrinks to come out of the closet and get off the property of other people's clothing choices.
Psychiatrists and psychologists are not fashion experts, nor should they pretend to be. In fact, most psych professionals are highly introverted white-collar office geeks rather known for a certain communist style of ill-fitting pant suits, frumpy dresses, ugly horn-rimmed glasses, round-neck undershirts and bow ties for men, flat leather shoes, heavy makeup, statement pieces of costume jewelry, pocket protectors, cuff links, etc., etc.
Shrinks are down-at-heel in court, and it's inappropriate for them to wear fancy clothes or drive flashy sports cars what-have-you.
