Domestic make-work
And making pansies out of men

The image of a man consuming too much of his time washing and folding and ironing clothes, cooking and cleaning is a little bit unbefitting, as is the expectation that a woman should be inordinately tasked with such and such domestic chores all the time.
A married man would typically do yard work, mow and water the lawn, do minor repairs inside and outside the home, wash cars and change the oil in them, etc. while his wife is busy cooking and cleaning inside the house. However that division of labor is for the couple to decide and work out for themselves, and not for outsiders or other authorities to judge or have opinions, depending on which chores are considered "domestic" and which are not.
A home should be designed and built for reasonably clean, efficient, beautiful living. Clean but don't obsess. Wear comfortable clothes that don't require too much pressing and ironing. Prepare food with simple recipes that use only a few fresh ingredients with a focus on fast preparation and easy clean-up. Time management is key. Hardwood or similar floors with throw rugs are generally better than wall to wall carpet which has to be professionally ripped out and replaced. Plumbing and wiring should be durable and protected and resistant to temperature extremes, with all fittings and connections accessible.
Vehicles should be from major brands considered easy to work on with OEM-quality replacement parts widely available.
Statisticians are spies, and there are definitely people who are not minding their own business here.
