Does solo dining qualify as minding your own business?
Let's not get too formal about a burger and fries
You're minding your own business, obviously, but you bet your boots others aren't. Don't be single and unattached in a crowd of promiscuous fornicators and heavy alcoholics.
You need friendly witnesses at your table. Don't get set up or framed or poisoned or date-raped at the place. Half these people have relationships they aren't out with.
Grab something to go if you're solo, keep on moving, focus on your personal commitments. The situation is to get off the property before anything bad happens if there aren't enough friendlies there on your side of the situation to combat the nasties.
Anything that looks a little bit too formal has a nasty tendency to show up at a local courthouse with a slew of bogus criminal charges and associated service of process. I don't want a process server meal. Time to lose some weight and stay shy of formal meals with cloth napkins. I wouldn't pan a place for serving a nice meal, but that's just plain too many disbarred lawyers eating out, and I don't need a court date.
