A rumor that circulated online in October 2025 claimed Barron Trump, U.S. President Donald Trump's youngest son, had a boyfriend named Carlos. According to the story, Barron Trump, 19, was dating a man some users identified as an Argentine ballroom dancer named Carlos Strasser.

Boyhood friends aren't necessarily "boyfriends" if you choose to call them that — "dating" or agreeing to meet at some time and place — that story is sketchy because ballroom dancers are pretty much exclusively straight, with respect to any traditional dance routines, and there's a whole code of honor to that sort of thing.

Trump's granddaughter Kai Trump on the other hand is in an unspecified "best friends" relationship with Emma Markin, if those two are dating or altogether honeymooning a bit much for a same-sex couple for us to believe they're all that straight.
