Denomination, foreordination and predestination
There is such a thing as seminary school rot as opposed to true Christianity
Particularly among Protestants. ...
Is Donald Trump Catholic? What religion is Donald Trump? Donald Trump is not a Catholic. He used to identify as a Presbyterian, but in 2020 he told Religion News Service he began considering himself a non-denominational Christian.
"Non-denominational" risks being construed as not being "called" as a Christian, since a denomination is a calling or some name by which someone is called — however, simply calling oneself a Christian should suffice as a denomination.
Along with a denomination, there is a foreordination and a predestination, particularly for Presbyterians who are so much into their seminary schools and/or divinity schools, and there are certain limits to the length of the sermon or the length of the words in the sermon which are bearable to the hearer.
Romans 8:28–39 describes the foreordination and predestination of salvation for the called or the elect.
II Peter 3 describes the foreordination of perdition of ungodly men, but there is no predestination of damnation because the Lord is long-suffering and not willing that any should perish, and His long-suffering is accounted as salvation for repentant sinners.
There are Hell's Angels and other groups who might believe in a predestination of damnation but that is a structure of beliefs that pertains to Satanism. God is neither prejudiced nor a respecter of persons according to the Bible.
