Estonia's Tartu Vangla prison has apparently acquired a modern-day reputation equivalent to the worst of the worst medieval European dungeons.

Swedish gang violence versus Swedish cops who are expert and well-practiced snipers. Given popular author Stieg Larsson's unexplained death while writing a fictional series detailing corruption throughout Sweden’s national security police, it's hard to tell who is on what side of law in Europe anymore, good or bad.

Perhaps this is all a flattering imitation of Donald Trump’s policy of sending U.S. prisoners to El Salvador, crime in Europe being what it is, white collar crimes of deception as well as blue collar crimes of violence and excessive force. These developments in Europe are somewhat alarming when their local news media have been focusing almost exclusively on sports and entertainment.
