Most golf courses tend to be 55+ clubs. It's not really a young man's sport, and most participants are middle aged or elderly, and of a certain net worth and income.
Teens hanging out at a golf course and possibly dating? There are probably older men of an opposing political party who do not want them there and see that as an opportunity to make wild and untrue claims of sexual offenses.
I don't see couples of whatever age, minors or not, dressed in typical golf clothes just going down on the grass and making out — it is something most decidedly unromantic and very uninspiring. Hadn't the accusers or alleged victims better come up with better stories than that at the police stations and courthouses?
