Age-related cognitive decline in Congress
With all the old-fashioned legal and medical malpractice by shysters and quacks that goes with that
Gerald of Wales makes the same complaint of men "waxen old in iniquity" and that does indeed perfectly well describe much of the U.S. Congress.

... Such defenders, or rather destroyers, of the church call themselves abbots, and presume to attribute to themselves a title, as well as estates, to which they have no just claim. In this state we found the church at Llanbadarn Fawr, without a head. A certain old man, waxen old in iniquity (whose name was Eden Oen ap Gwaithwoed) was abbot, and his sons officiated at the altar. ...
Gluesenkamp Perez appears much older than her claimed chronological age, and I would not make make that comment of a woman except that she opened up the issue herself with her obnoxiously litigious comments on others' age and mental abilities.
When men are waxen old in iniquity, forcing them to retire and electing their sons to Congress instead might reduce the average age of Congressmen, but it does absolutely nothing to drive out the horrible iniquity that presently rules our country as well as the rest of the world. The only real disability to age is that one who is older generally has less time of life on earth remaining. It's the devil “having great wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short time” [Rev. 12:12].
The wicked Democrats certainly aren’t going to save us with their obnoxiously litigious policies and endless courthouse arguments over the mental status of adults who dress themselves, walk, talk, read, write, operate motor vehicles, eat, sleep, and work.
